Digital recorders of the speech information “AMUR”
How much of disk space does the Base of records occupy and what kind of Winchester does it require?
There is AMURcalculator program for calculation of capacity of the Winchester or time of filling of the Winchester. You can find it on the disk that is delivered with the recorder It is possible to take it on the disk delivered together with the recorder, or to download from our site. The size of the base depends on frequency of digitizing (8 kHz by default) and an applied file compression (by default Microsoft ADPCM compresses in 4 times). For example, it is possible to calculate that for 6-channel AMUR-PCI-A-18 complex, with frequency of digitizing 16 kHz and standard Microsoft ADPCM compression, on terms that during all 5 hours a day telephone channels are busy, the disk with capacity of 80 Gbytes will be filled in 97 days. Or writing down on the same terms for not less than 1 year, 301 Gbytes disk is required (two disks for 160 Gbytes).
What operating systems do AMUR recorders use?
Windows 2000, XP, 2003.
What maximum quantity of the recorders’ printed-circuit boards can be mounted into the computer?
Up to 11 printed-circuit boards of each type.
Why in incoming calls the phone number is not always defined?
The subscriber’s number can be defined in accordance with the Russian or European automatic number identification standard. It depends on ATS of your telephone operator.
First of all, it is necessary to check up, whether the number identification service is enabled in the program Monitoring (additional parametres, bookmark phone).
Further, if the number identification service by the Russian standard is available then it is necessary to listen to the records for which number has not been defined. To make sure that the calls are really incoming (otherwise to edit the parameters of the telephone channel) and there is ANI inquiry – fast audio signal. If it is not available, you should remember the number of the channel and to fix certain quantity of quires for this channel (1) in the Monitoring program bookmark telephone. If the inquiry is available but the number of the telephone is not still available this means that ATS from which the call has been made does not give the inquiry answer. In this situation our complex does not manage to define the incoming subscriber number until the ATS provider makes this service available. Sometimes this service is provided by the operator on a paid basis.
If the automatic number identification (ANI) by the European standard is available then it is necessary to update the Software of the recorder up to the version of September 2005, to make available the number identification service in the Monitoring program. The ANI signal is audible in the pauses between the calls or before them (if later, for the purpose of listening ANI you should switch the channel working mode according to the channel level. If the ANI signal is not available, most likely the service is not provided by the operator.
Why is there only call time in some records of incoming calls and instead of record beginning time are there dashes?
It means that the call has not been answered.
